People trafficking is the fastest growing means by which people are enslaved, the fastest growing international crime, and one of the largest sources of income for organized crime. At least 12.3 million people are victims of forced labor worldwide. 1.2 million children are trafficked every year. 60,000 - 80,000 men, women, and children are trafficked across international borders each year. So many people are dragged into this horrendous life, its very sad. People are trafficked into prostitution, begging, forced labor, military service, domestic services, forced illegal adoption, forced marriage, etc. There are even some reports of trafficking groups switching their cargo from drugs to human beings, in search of higher profits at a lower risk. This terrible crime does not just happen in one country it happens all over the world. This is modern day slavery and it is called human trafficking.
